《The Beatles(White Album)》50th Anniversary Edition是第二部重释The Beatles录音室专辑的多格式作品，由英国音乐人Giles Martin担纲混音/制作部分。他是The Beatles御用制作人George Martin之子，曾参与The Beatles的作品包括2015《1+》，2016 《Live at the Hollywood Bowl》，2017 《Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - 50th anniversary editions》等等。
重要的是，限定版内收录的ESHER DEMOS是一张27首曲目组成的Beatles不插电合辑，其中的19首是作为小样录制的，日后成为了《White Album》内的曲目。这是披头士最著名的非正式发行碟之一，在此之前歌迷只能听到极低质量的版本，此套装内收录的，则是原版的录音版本。
另外，6CD超豪华版还收录了由Giles Martin remix的“Lady Madonna”’, “Hey Jude”，“Revolution”的片段，这些曲目曾在1968年以单曲形式发行，并未收录专辑中。
